Zodiac Cartel, j’avais un peu dialogué avec lui il y a quelques temps, et il m’avait dit qu’il me tiendrait au courant de ses futurs prod, et c’est donc hier qu’est sorti son dernier EP, We Don’t Play That.
We Don’t Play That is a jump-up-future-anthem, and in it they take the sound of pilled-up latino scooter gangs doing battle with the MONSTER RAVE MACHINE, emerging bleary-eyed into a napalm dawn under a haze of battle-scarred euphoria. Oh yessir. When the track was initially leaked out on public promo site, Soundcloud.com, it quickly became the hottest track of any genre, racking up close to 2,000 plays in a matter of days and deposing Royksopp’s new single from the top spot.
